in honor of our last day with this room layout! re-arranged the room today. it's so great! we have a nice couch area, our beds, our study corner, and a tea corner, complete with chairs and small table. all within a 10'x10' room. booya!

So this was rather unexpected, but this week I'm going to fast from solid food, facebook, flickr and photography. I'll be back next week, God willing. No worries. Hopefully with some fresh, new material!

Okay. I realize this picture may get some mixed reviews. You may be thinking of this verse:

"Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full."

That is not the aim of this picture. I believe that fasting is the one of the most spiritually life-giving practices, and the enemy will do whatever he can to keep us from carrying it out in full. So I ask for your prayers during this week. Thank you.
